Radical Nature. Art and Architecture for a Changing Planet 1969-2009

Installation, Barbican Art Gallery, London 2009

Installation produced for Barbican Art Gallery on the occasion of the exhibition “Radical Nature. Art and Architecture for a Changing Planet 1969-2009”, is an adaptation to a different context of the temporary pavilion Green Room, built in Busan (South Corea), on the occasion of Busan Biennale 2006.
The simple wooden structure reveals in the interior a “fragment” of a miniature garden, inspired by the traditional landscaped gardens of British stately homes. The mirrored walls create within this small room an illusion of infinite space underlining the opposition interior-exterior.
